The 2023 ‘Ian Daly Swim A Mile With A Smile’ took place at the Ballyfermot Sports & leisure Centre pool on 22nd and 23rd April and was a big success! We had over 90 swimmers complete the sponsored swim in this venue alone. There are still numerous satellite events to take place all around the country as well. We are delighted with the response we got this year.
The atmosphere was fantastic and all our swimmers achieved their swimming milestones with many exceeding their targets and having fun doing it! So, a big thank you to all participants around the country. You can be very proud of your efforts! It really is a fun way to get fit for the Summer and raise valuable sponsorship for our two charities, Crumlin Hospital and Barretstown.
The good news is that it is not too late to take part in this year’s event. Over the next few months many swims and fundraising events will be taking part, organised by enthusiastic locals. You can be a part of this by emailing Brian & Laura on iandalyswim@gmail.com . We will provide you with all the material you need to organise and run your sponsored event, whether it is for one or one hundred participants! We look forward to hearing from you!
